Great weekend......

Had a great weekend......got out on the bike for a ride over to oxfordshire with johnny...nothing fell off / broke / leaked......starting to worry about the ol' girl.....all this trouble free Triumph riding...getting boring now, not the same as when your broke down at the side of the road with just a pocket knife & a packet of cigs....

Pre Unit T100 Part III

Motor in the frame....Firestone deluxe now on the new back wheel

Just waiting on the front end to come back from chroming....then it's time to sort out the upswept cocktail shakers........

Found this little beauty.....gunna rig it up on a bracket (As i don't own a petrol pump!!) stick a nice bright bulb underneath and hang it off my garage wall.......well happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So here's the motor after a visit to dick & del at the Barons Speed Shop

Pre Unit T100 Part II

Ok.....so this was my motor when i picked it up........
Nicely hand painted Silver & black.!!!!!!!

This was in a right state.....for a engine advertised as " just rebuilt"??

Head was in a right state......

Man..you just gotta love drilled timing wheels.........

Now , like i said earlier...this motor was sold to me as "just rebuilt".....take a look at the pump gasket....on back to front!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....rebuilt by the muppets i reckon.

Needed a pedal for the Pre unit Build, so took one manky pedal...

White rubbers and a cheap thin chrome plated centre tube.

Chucked some solid brass bar in the lathe...

Bore it out to 16mm....

Recess the ends......

Repeat twice more with smaller 12mm bar....& Job Done.....
